The KainersShot with 2 cameras and a drone, I produced my first solo wedding project. This project presented some challenges, particularly with the audio as I was unable to directly connect to the sound board during the ceremony.
Natalie & JeremyMixing the footage shot by the Austin Oden Videography and the footage I shot on my drone, I edited the final video of my sister's wedding.
ThePicketFences Christmas 2019 Home TourThis was a staged home tour that I shot and edited for the Instagram account ThePicketFences. Most challenging was getting the footage steady without the use of a stabilizer.

TexAgs
I recently completed two free-lance video editing projects for TexAgs, which is one of the largest non-collegiate affiliated sports news forums with an extensive viewing audience. My projects included videos of Texas A&M football highlights, created immediately following the first two home football games.

I currently volunteer with my church's Story Tellers volunteer team, which is a group dedicated to capturing/creating stories through media within the church and community. My degree in Film & Digital Media has equipped me with skills and experience to train the volunteers and to take a position of leadership. In this role, I supervise all aspects of media creation, from start to finish. The goal is to help the volunteers reach a level of proficiency that eventually requires little-to-no supervision.

Chapel Production Team (January 2018 - April 2018)
Attending Baylor Chapel each week is the oldest tradition in Baylor’s history and is required for all freshman. I was hired to join the video team, which live-streams, records, and archives each chapel service. Team members work on rotations, meaning that each day team members have different jobs--one day on camera, another day in the booth (overseeing graphics), another day operating the switcher, and another day operating the ptz, which remotely controls cameras 1 and 2.
Baylor Orientation + Line Camp (May 2017 - July 2017)
Baylor Line Camp is a week-long camp for all incoming students at Baylor University. During the week, incoming students are mentored by current student leaders who teach them about Baylor's traditions and about how to succeed at Baylor. The new students are assigned a leader (usually a sophomore or junior) who oversees his/her group of 8-12.
Training
The line camp leader selection and training process includes multiple steps. First, line camp leaders are selected following a rigorous application and interview process. Once accepted, all leaders complete a semester-long leadership class, where they learn earning leadership principles and where they discover their own leadership styles. At the end of the semester, leaders report to campus to begin training, which involves learning first-aid, Title IX, safety, scheduling logistics, and other topics important to the role of a line camp leader. An important part of the training includes building friendships with the other leaders so that leaders demonstrate community to the campers.
Line Camp
Being a Baylor Line Camp leader is one of the most formative things I have ever done. I got to mentor other students as well as grow in my own abilities to lead others and manage the week’s activities . Each week we were led by a different camp director who encouraged and inspired us in his/her own unique ways. My biggest challenge, as an introvert, was leading and facilitating my group. However, what I found most rewarding was hearing from multiple campers that their Line Camp experience removed any doubts about attending Baylor--that their decision to attend Baylor University was clearly affirmed.
